SPIN’s Nevermind Tribute Album

Nirvana fans, heads up. In case you haven’t yet realized, Nirvana’s Nevermind is turning 20 years old this September. I’m hoping to get my hands on the box set celebrating the two decades of the record’s existence. Because the repackaged Bleach was released locally, I have reason to believe that Nevermind also will be.

More urgently, SPIN invited artists – the Vaselines and the Meat Puppets included – to do a tribute. It’s called Newermind. It’s out and it’s free.
